Lookouts drop game 3 to Biloxi
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Superhero night at AT&T Field Saturday night as the Chattanooga Lookouts entertain the Biloxi Shuckers for game three of the five-game series.
The Justice League made an appearance, but no justice for the Lookouts. Sean Poppen starting on the mound for the home team. He struck out five in 6 and 2/3 innings.
The Lookouts look alive in the second. Chris Paul flies out to right center field, but Corey Ray can’t handle the transition, which lets Wilkins go to third.
Mitchell Kranson up next. He flies one high to left, deep enough to give Wilkins room to score. Chattanooga strikes first, 1-0. And ump better get out of the way because Wilkins is coming in hot.
Then in the third, Brent Rooker on the warning track and able to bring it in before hitting the wall. Rooker also had a home run.
But Lookouts let Biloxi win for the second night in a row, 5-2 the final.
