Lookouts Post 7-2 Victory Over Mississippi Braves

(lookouts.com) CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — T.J. White doubled and singled twice as the Chattanooga Lookouts defeated the Mississippi Braves 7-2 on Wednesday.

Chattanooga scored three runs in the first inning, including a two-run double by Max Murphy and an RBI double by White.

The Lookouts then scored four runs in the fourth inning as they sent nine men to plate.

Edgar Corcino and Lamonte Wade both had two-out, two RBI singles in the frame.

Anthony McIver (1-0) got the win with two innings of scoreless relief while Mississippi starter Tyler Pike (0-8) took the loss in the Southern League game.

For the Braves, Joey Meneses doubled and singled, driving in two runs.

Chattanooga improved to 8-1 against Mississippi this season.
