Lookouts Use Big 6th Inning to Beat Birmingham 9-4

(lookouts.com) CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — Andy Wilkins homered and had three hits, driving in two, and Stephen Gonsalves allowed just three hits over 5 2/3 innings as the Chattanooga Lookouts topped the Birmingham Barons 9-4 on Tuesday.

Gonsalves (7-3) allowed two runs while striking out six and walking three to get the win.

Birmingham tied the game 1-1 in the fourth after Tito Polo hit an RBI double, scoring Jose Vinicio.

Leading 3-2, the Lookouts added to their lead with six runs in the sixth inning, including two RBI each from Carlos Paulino and LaMonte Wade.

Jordan Stephens (1-3) went 5 2/3 innings, allowing five runs and five hits in the Southern League game. He also struck out three and walked five.

For the Barons, Polo tripled and doubled, driving in two runs.
