CPD identifies Man who fired at Police on Glass Street

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga police have identified a suspect who fired at them on Glass Street late Monday night.

Officers responding to a call about a man in the street with a weapon at 2400 Glass Street.

When the arrived, Police located 34 year old Curtis Brown.

Brown fled the area, and when officers followed, he pulled out a weapon.

Gunfire was exchanged between both the officers and the suspect, but no injuries were reported.

Brown will be facing two charges of Attempted Murder, in addition to Unlawful Possession, and Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Dangerous Felony.

Police are still searching for Brown, and ask anyone who may know his whereabouts please call 911 immediately.
