Woman injured after shooting on Kemp Drive
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are looking for leads related to the shooting of a person Monday evening on Kemp Drive.
The call came in just before 7:00 p.m. stating that a person suffering from a gunshot wound had arrived at a local hospital.
Police were later able to confirm that the shooting occurred at the 4600 block of Kemp Drive.
The victim is identified as Marquetta Bentley, 24, of Chattanooga.
Bentley was arrested May 16 for possession of a controlled substance.
She is being treated with what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
There is no suspect information available at this time.
