Man Overdoses at a Wendy’s and Later Sexually Assaults Female Medic

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- The Chattanooga Police Department was dispatched to a Wendy’s on the 7000 block of Bonny Oaks Dr and arrested a man after police say he overdosed on Oxycodon and later become violent with medics.

In the affidavit police state they found 22-year-old, Brandon Lee Goins with a blue medication bottle without a label.

Mr. Goins stated that he recently just purchased 5 Oxycodone pills for $10 from a male party named “David”.

It was then verified that the pills were determined to be Acetaminophen and Oxycodone.

When medics arrived the report says the Goins seemed cooperative, but a few moments later that was not the case.

The same officer was advised by dispatch that he was needed at the intersection of Bonny Oaks Dr. and Hickory Valley Rd.

When he arrived on scene, the officer in his report stated that when he entered the rear of the emergency vehicle Mr. Goins was “kicking his legs and flailing his arms”. He then was restrained and the officer was informed of another incident that took place.

The female medic stated when Goins became combative and was attempting to be restrained the first time that in this process Goins grabbed the female medic in the “groin and genital area” and that she felt violated.

The rest of the transport with the officer to a Hixson hospital Goins was reported to no longer being combative and he was then later transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

His bond has not been set and is currently being charged with the following:
