Man seriously injured in Chattanooga industrial accident

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Fire Department officials report a man was seriously injured Friday morning in an industrial accident at Neff Rental.

Spokesman Bruce Garner said it happened shortly after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the business located at 309 Corporate Place.

Firefighters say an employee with the company was attempting to clean a mini-excavator when the accident occurred.

Chattanooga firefighters provided some on-scene care to stem the bleeding and then handed the patient off to Hamilton County EMS, which rushed the victim to a local hospital.
