Man shot on Chattanooga Westside Monday evening

Chattanooga Police on the scene of a shooting on the 1200 block of Grove Street in front of the James A. Henry Building near the College Hill Courts. A car is seen behind police tape on the sidewalk with damage.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- A man has been shot on the Chattanooga Westside Monday evening near College Hill Courts.

Chattanooga Police say they responded to that call on the 1200 block of Grove Street.

HC911 logs indicate the call came in around 6 p.m. Monday.

When we arrived on scene, a portion of that street had been roped off near the James A. Henry Building.

A vehicle was on the sidewalk, and glass was shattered out front of a building.

Chattanooga Police say the victim of this shooting has non-life threatening injuries.

No word on if anyone has been arrested in the shooting.
