Marion Co Rolls Over Bledsoe Co 41-3 in a Saturday Matinee Game

Chattanooga-(WDEF) Marion County knocked off Bledsoe Co 41-3 on Saturday afternoon at the Boyd Buchanan School.
The date and location of the game was moved due to weather and field condition concerns in Pikeville.
After getting the opening kick, Marion Co scored on a 64-yard touchdown run by Jacob Saylors.
An interception return set up another easy touchdown for Marion Co.
Saylors scored from four yards out to make it 14-0.
Still in the first quarter, and Marion Co had the ball on their own five yard line when quarterback Isaiah Sampson hit Brett Nelson on a short pass.
Nelson got behind the defense and raced 95 yards for a touchdown to make it 21-0.
Bledsoe Co got a field goal in the second period to cut the lead to 21-3.
Marion Co then recovered a fumble deep in Bledsoe Co territory.
Sampson then scored on fourth and goal from the one to make it 27-3.
Marion Co added two more scores to win it 41-3.
They get rival South Pittsburg next Friday night.
