Mayor Berke says Chattanooga Fire Chief will be missed
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Last night, city council Chairman Ken Smith thanked Chattanooga Fire Chief Chris Adams for his service to the department in an emotional farewell.
Mayor Berke says many city employees leave at their 30 year mark, and Adams’ anniversary is coming up soon.
Berke says he will be missed.
“Chief Adams is an fantastic fire chief. This is the time for him to retire based on his pension and we wish him the best of luck. We hope to continue the progress that he’s made.”
A Chattanooga Fire Spokesman says Adams will be leaving sometime in September.
