McKamey Animal Shelter celebrates successful adoptions

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – McKamey Animal Center is celebrating success of this weekends free adoption event.

They posted on Facebook that 162 pets found forever homes this weekend.

The center had taken in hundreds of animals from North Carolina after Hurricane Florence affected the area.

McKamey waived adoption fees for this weekend’s event to make adopting an animal more accessible for families.
