Mocs Coaches Tom Arth and Lamont Paris Experience Porky’s Open Fundraiser
Chattanooga-(WDEF) The Chattanooga Mocs held their biggest athletic fundraiser of the year in the annual golf tournament called the Porky’s Open.
Many of the school’s head coaches were in attendance to meet with UTC supporters at the Council Fire Golf Club.
New head football coach Tom Arth posed for pictures and putted with each group that came through the par four 9th hole, while
new head basketball coach Lamont Paris hit tee shots with each group on the par five 6th hole.
Said Paris:”It’s just awesome to see this much support out here. It’s a great day for Chattanooga Mocs athletics in general. For all sports.”
Reporter:”What’s the one question or one thing most fans ask you since you’re kind of new to this area?”
Laughs Arth:”Probably how I ended up having five kids. That one comes up a lot. You know the number of kids in my family. That and just how I like Chattanooga.”
This year’s Porky’s Open raised over $100,000 for the third time.
