Mocs Coaches Will Wade and Russ Huesman Get Dunked For Charity

Chattanooga-(WDEF) Mocs football coach Russ Huesman and Mocs basketball coach Will Wade put their ‘Wonder Twin’ powers to good use on this fourth of July.

They helped raise money for charity by getting dunked at a downtown Chattanooga restaurant.
Universal Joint Restaurant went into beach mode on the fourth of July, and Coach Huesman and Coach Wade helped supply the waves, courtesy of a dunk tank.
It was all to raise money for the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Said Wade,"Well I’m ready to get in the dunk tank and see what happens. See who has got some good aim."
Reporter-"Ever been in a dunk tank before?"
Said Huesman,"No I never have. No. It should be fun."
Coach Wade knows first hand the impact of St Jude Children’s Hospital.
"We adopted a kid for our team this past year who gets treatments at St. Jude’s. As we got involved with Keegan this year and his family, who we adopted as a team, I learned more about St. Jude and everything it does. Not only for the kids who are the patients, but for the families and the other siblings that are in the family because it affects everybody usually."
Said Huesman,"It’s a great cause. To be able to help in anyway we can that’s so important."
Huesman also felt it was important to personally dunk his athletic co-worker.
"I’m going to throw and try to get him. I want to be the first guy, but you guys are holding me up here."
Huesman also took aim at former Mocs quarterback B.J. Coleman.
But when it was his turn, Huesman talked trash from the plank in the tank.
‘Getting cold up here Lisa, let’s go."
Huesman eventually took a dive for charity.
Added Wade,"Guess I can say I went to the pool for the fourth."
