Mocs football meets with fans at Chattanooga Market

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The countdown is now at 11 days until the Mocs officially kick off their 2018 season.

Sunday, the entire team greeted fans and signed autographs at the First Tennessee Pavilion during the Sunday market.

Still no answer from Coach Tom Arth on who the starting quarterback will be. But he says the team is ready for game one and he hopes this event will help the fans connect with the 2018 squad.

“I know our players were excited to have the chance to be around the kids that are going to be here, that look up to them, and that dream of being in a position that they’re in. And we hope that the interactions that our student athletes have especially with the younger fans that they will make a difference in their lives in some special way,” Coach Arth said.

The Mocs season opens at home August 30 against Tennessee Tech.
