More To The Story: Hamilton Flourishing
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – People are invited to attend the Calvary Chapel on Broad Street on the evening of June the 30th. 6:30 to 8 PM. A 90 minute gathering.
Much of the assembly will be virtual, and there will be speakers from all walks of life. Different states. Different countries.
Doug Daugherty is a local organizer. He’s the president of the non-profit “Hamilton Flourishing.”
“It’ll be live here. But broadcast throughout the nation on multiple channels. Each person involved is the head of their own network. And they are sending out media kits all over the world.”
Various topics will be addressed during the assembly. The recent uptick in violence will be one of them. The “pivot point,” as Daugherty calls it, will be the controversial impending decision on Roe versus Wade. And the ultimate results of that decision.
Daugherty says he and Hamilton Flourishing is all about fixing things.
“I kind of see things that are happening in Chattanooga. I try to create networks and organizations that work towards problems. I do a lot of community work, such as writing, reporting, journalism and essays. Those are things that fill my time.”
Again, June 30th, 6:30 PM, at the big church on Broad Street.
