This particular job fair will concentrate on Electronic Technicians and Tufting Mechanics
That event happens today from 9am til Noon at the Department of Labor in Dalton, Ga.
The president of a North Carolina-based testing company says he can’t guarantee that all students in Tennessee will receive the state’s new assessment in time to take the test.
The president and CEO of Measurement Inc. said Monday that his company is working furiously to get the new TNReady materials to students.
The delay is the latest setback for the creators of the TNReady tests.
The state awarded the company with a contract of more than $107 million, but only $1.6 million of that has been paid.
Police say two people are in custody in connection with the shootings of four people at a downtown Nashville bus terminal Monday.
An 18-year-old victim is in critical condition. Three others suffered minor injuries.
Officials say they recovered a gun believed to have been used in the shootings.
Authorities say the bus terminal is a central transfer station for schoolchildren and other passengers.
