Motorcycle crash in Red Bank sends two people to the hospital

RED BANK, Tennessee (WDEF) – Two people are being treated for injures they sustained after their motorcycle crashed in Red Bank.

It happened Sunday morning along southbound Highway 27 just south of the Morris Springs on-ramp.

According to Red Bank Police, a tire blowout appears to have caused the motorcycle to crash.

Two people who were riding the motorcycle were taken to the hospital with unknown injures.

When News 12 arrived on scene, one of the crash victims was on the ground but appeared to be awake and communicating with paramedics. After he was loaded into an ambulance, News 12 located his cell phone which was thrown 50 feet from the crash site.

Police have not released the names of the crash victims.
