Neighborhood tips lead to arrest of North Chattanooga burglaries suspect

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police investigators credit neighbors with helping them stop a rash of burglaries in North Chattanooga.

They began investigating break-ins early this week to cars and homes on Fairmount Street near Normal Park.

Community members gave them tips that helped them identify a suspect.

They arrested Rickey Lebron Davis within 32 hours in connection to eight burglaries.

He has an extensive history of thefts in Hamilton County.

And they may be able to link him to more break-ins.

“We again thank these community members who followed the mantra of “See Something, Say Something”. Their actions were a direct catalyst which assisted the investigators in such a expeditious arrest.”
