Neighbors Say Rossville Man Fired Gun Into The Air Before Deputies Shot Him

Chattanooga (WDEF) – We have new information from neighbors tonight on the shooting Sunday night of a domestic abuse suspect in Rossville.

It happened at a home on Cocharan Drive.

Neighbors say police have been called to the home because of domestic violence before.

This time, they say the man came out on the front porch and fired a gun into the air, once.

That’s when deputies opened fire, killing him.

The neighbors counted about nine shots from multiple officers.

The woman in the home was treated for injuries she received during the incident.
