New Orleans Saints Safety Vonn Bell Puts on Football Camp at Ridgeland High School

Rossville, GA-(WDEF-TV) Before New Orleans safety Vonn Bell heads out for the Saints training camp in a couple of weeks, he held his own camp today at his high school alma-mater. Bell welcomed over two-hundred campers to Ridgeland High School for the Vonn Bell Academy Skills camp. He also had a few other NFL players helping coach the kids. Bell posed for plenty of pictures and signed a ton of autographs. It was a surreal day for the former Ridgeland stand-out. He always dreamed of giving back to his community, and that became a reality this afternoon. Said Bell:”I remember telling Coach (Mark) Mariakis and Coach Kip Klein like one day, I want to leave a legacy and really give back to the community. That’s what I’m doing today. I hope to make this thing annually and just keep on bringing the guys out. Keep on bringing the kids out here competing. Just having fun. Just running around man. Man what a day.”
