No Injuries Reported at Apison Pike Fire

Saturday morning, at 8:35 AM, Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department arrived to a home on 10996 Apison Pike that was blowing heavy smoke. A homeowner made the initial 911 call reporting the smell of smoke in the home and evacuated. No one was left inside the house which was confirmed to on scene firefighters. No injuries reported, but HCEMS was called to the scene.

Firefighters found the cause of the smoke to be from a fire in the attic. There was fire and smoke damage to the interior of the rental house. The cause of the fire will be under investigation by the Tri-Community VFD Fire Marshal’s Office. Damages are undetermined at this time.
