Notre Dame High School vs. Tyner Academy

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Notre Dame opened their season with a road win last week against Central.

Friday night, the Irish were hoping to spoil the home debut of another local team in the Tyner Rams.

Let’s jump in the Irish on offense Quarterback Alex Darras hooks up with Andrew Banks, who gets both feet in for a big catch, putting the Irish in position to score early.

Darras back to work, and he hooks up with Andrew Banks again.

This time in the endzone, he goes to the ground to pull that one in.

Great catch.

Now, it’s Tyner’s turn, and they give the ball to Brandon Jackson.

He find a ton of space, and he is coming right down the pipe before he is finally brought down Tyner Stall on that drive.

Notre Dame back on offense, and Darras finds Trey Owten the 3rd, and he makes one miss, spins off another before he just trips and goes down.

Everything was clicking for the Irish early, but here comes Jadarius Paris with the interception.

He is dipping and digging, and they are not going to stop him.

He takes this one all the way back for the touchdown.

That is one way to get on the board, and change a game.

Irish looking to respond, and Ricky Ballard is running like a man possessed.

He jumps over one, then another, and he just won’t go down, but that wouldn’t be enough as this one is just out of the Irish’s reach.

They fall to Tyner; 27 to 21.
