NTSB Chairman on the scene in Chattanooga for school bus crash
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) The Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board Christopher Hart briefed the media this afternoon on their investigation into the Woodmore bus crash.
Their Go Team arrived in town on Tuesday for what could be a week-to-10 day investigation.
City officials had moved the bus from the crash scene before they arrived, so they inspected the wreckage at a garage.
Chairman Hart says they will not take part in the criminal investigation.
Instead they will examine what can be learned from this crash to prevent future tragic crashes.
After his statement, Chairman Hart took questions from reporters on issues from the crash.
