Official: 3 killed in mobile home fire in Macon County

LAFAYETTE, Tenn. (AP) – Officials say three people have been killed in a residential trailer fire in Macon County.

Danny Dozier, chief of the Willette Volunteer Fire Department, says the blaze burned a mobile home near Lafayette on Friday.

Dozier said the fire’s cause is under investigation. Dozier said the state fire marshal is heading to the scene.

The identities of the victims were not immediately released because family members had not yet been notified of the deaths.
