One arrested in Dorris Street shooting incident

A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident that left a 74-year-old man injured.

David Lester was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault.

It happened at around 8 p.m. Tuesday night in the 4200 block of Dorris Street.

Police said upon arriving, officers located a 74-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

His injuries were described as non-life threatening and was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS.

Police said their initial investigation determined the incident was domestic in nature.
