One person shot at Coolidge Park

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — On April 29, 2026, one person was shot at Coolidge Park.

According to the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD), one person with a gunshot wound was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The park is secured as an active crime scene and will remain closed until the investigation is complete.

There is currently no estimated timeline for reopening.
