One year of COVID

(WDEF) Within 24 hours on March 12th of 2020, the impact of the coronavirus truly showed itself.

The sports world had been put on hold as the NBA postponed the season the night before, the men’s and women’s college basketball tournaments were canceled causing everyone’s bracket to be busted before it could ever begin.

Lockdowns across the world were happening and starting to take place in the United States.

Tyler Milton said it’s been a long year and he never would have thought it would have lasted this long and impacted so many aspects of everyone’s daily life.

“I didn’t think it would last this long honestly. I thought things would be open back up, but I can assure you that my hopes are high. Hopefully, everything will get back to normal and we can conduct our regular life just as normal,” said Milton.

President Joe Biden said he will direct states to make sure all adults will be eligible for the COVID vaccine by May 1.
