Ooltewah Home Burns in Early Morning Hours

Ooltewah (WDEF) – The Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department battled an early morning blaze in Ooltewah.

The homeowner at 8778 Dayflower Drive woke to the smell of smoke around 2:15 AM.

A second floor bonus room was on fire.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the second floor.

They estimate damage from the fire at $75,000.

But no one was hurt.
