Police find Marijuana in “Weed World” RV

SARALAND, Ala. (WDEF) – Police in Saraland, Alabama may have an easier time explaining why they suspected the people in this RV of having marijuana.

Instead of citing suspicious behavior, they can just point to the vehicle.

Officers pulled over the “Weed World Candies” van on I 65 Monday afternoon.

Then they said they could smell marijuana in the vehicle.

They say they found items inside the van that tested positive for marijuana.

So they arrested all five people inside.

Of course, this is just the kind of result the company is looking for.

Weed World Candies proudly proclaims they are trying to both legalize and industrialize marijuana and hemp.

“We tour the country in a fleet of “loud” vehicles promoting the legalization and decriminalization of marijuana.”

Their product line includes Bubble Kush, O.G Kush, Strawberry Cough, White Widow, SkyWalker Kush, Purple Urkle, and A.K 47.

But they insist the candies do not contain actual marijuana.

The colorful vans cruise southern cities like New Orleans, Miami and Atlanta, and the highways in between.
