CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police identify the suspect they believe led them on a dangerous chase on Monday on I 75.

He is 30 year old James Bryan Miller.

This certainly isn’t the first time that law enforcement has been searching for him.

He was in a car that ran from police in 2012, that crashed in Ft. Oglethorpe.

And he was briefly a suspect in a double shooting in the Ooltewah area in 2008.

It happened at a home on Pattentown Road.

Investigators say Miller shot a pair of teenagers who were breaking into a house where he was staying.

“investigators are working around the clock to try to put this puzzle together” a Hamilton County Sheriff’s spokesman told us eight years ago.

But Miller fled the scene before investigators could get his side of the story.

They made this appeal for him to turn himself in.

” Mr. Miller, you may be afraid of the charges. If it was justifiable the court will see it as justifiable. But to get you to court and to have all this play out, we have to make contact with you.”

He didn’t make contact.

Instead, Miller was arrested at a home in Whitfield County a few days leader.
