UPDATE: Police investigating fatal crash on Bonny Oaks

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Yesterday afternoon, Chattanooga Police responded to a traffic crash at 6900 Bonny Oaks Drive that resulted in a fatality.

A Nissan Frontier, driven by Michael Holloway, 64, was stopped behind other vehicles on Bonny Oaks Drive. Traveling westbound, Holloway was rear-ended by a Harley Davidson Motorcycle.

Kirk Parrigin, 47, the driver of the motorcycle, was unresponsive and transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to injuries.

Officers are actively investigating this crash and ask anyone with further information to call 423-698-2525. More will be released when available.

The crash happened late Saturday afternoon.

Police tell News 12 that one person died.

The crash involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

Chattanooga Police tweeted that Bonny Oaks Drive between Volkswagen Drive and Hickory Valley will be closed for several hours for investigation.
