Potential COVID-19 Exposure at Funeral Services of Charles H. Coolidge

The Hamilton County Health Department is warning of potential COVID-19 exposure at Charles H. Coolidge’s funeral. The funeral services began Thursday and continued into Friday. It was reported that individuals attended this service while in their infectious period of COVID-19.

Anyone who attended the services, ceremonies, or rode in buses or shuttles to and from the services, should be aware of any developing symptoms. The health department encourages those who do develop symptoms to get tested immediately.

“Our deepest condolences go to the friends and family members for their loss and we regret further intrusion into your grief,” said Health Department Administrator Becky Barnes, “We encourage anyone who attended these services to monitor themselves for symptoms and get tested as soon as symptoms develop.”
