Publix activates disaster relief program

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Publix store managers in Chattanooga say they are saddened by the disaster in Texas and wanted to do whatever they could to help.

They have activated their disaster relief program at their registers. All funds go to the Red Cross.

Customers can donate any amount they wish and it will be added to their total when they check out.

Store managers say it is important to help out in times of need.

All Publix stores in the southeast are participating in this fundraiser.
