Quarterback Race Resumes at Georgia on the First Day of Practice

Georgia kicked off fall practice on Tuesday, and head coach Mark Richt better get ready to hear one question all camp long. Who’s going to be your starting quarterback?

No one emerged as the starter in spring practice.
And then after spring drills, Georgia added a transfer in Virginia quarterback Greyson Lambert.
He’ll battle Bryce Ramsey and Faton Bauta for the Dawgs starting quarterback job.
Said Richt,
"We’re going to rotate the top three guys. Three scholarship quarterbacks.  We’re going to rotate them. One guy with the first unit, one guy with the second unit, and one guy with the third unit, and just keep rotating it around on a day-to-day basis until we think we need to stop. It could go all the way to the first game. Somewhere along the way it might drop into a two man race."
