Recycling Christmas Trees
The Hamilton County Recycling Centers are accepting trees through January.
You can drop them off at any hour at each site’s designated space outside the gate for the holiday plants.
External Communications Manager Mike Dunne with the Mayor’s Office says, "We’re recycling Christmas trees this year. So if you have a Christmas tree you want to dispose of it, you can bring it to one of our five Hamilton County Recycling Centers. We’ll be happy to take it and we’re going to grind it into mulch and it’s available to the public if they want to use it."
The Highway Department will be making the mulch.
It’s free to Hamilton County residents; just call 855-6100.
