Red Bank takes the win from Signal Mountain 29-8
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- After getting shut-out two weeks ago against McCallie, the Red Bank offense seems to have found their footing
The Lions have scored a total of 55 points in their last two games as they hit the road tonight for a region match-up against Signal Mountain.
Unfortunately, when the Eagles tore onto the field, they were already getting smoked!
QB Calvin Jackson gets this quick pass off to Mike Porter, who does the rest on the ground with a couple of moves, a broken tackle and a sprint for the sidelines to move the chains early in the drive.
But the Eagles seemed to have the Lions stopped after that long drive, but on 4th and 19, Jackson throws into the end zone finding Porter again for the TD.
The Eagles hold the Lions again in the red zone, and this time on forth down they opt for the 25-yard field goal, which is good. Lions 10 zip.
This time Jackson fakes the hand off and keeps it himself and waltzes in with a good stiff arm at the goal line. Just before the half, Lions up 17-Zero.
The Eagles fans are understandably silent, but the band is still urging on the team. but it did not help much red bank wins this one 29-to-8
