Remote Area Medical to offer free clinic in Athens this weekend

ATHENS, Tenn. (WDEF) — Remote Area Medical (RAM) is getting ready for their free two day clinic at McMinn County High School in Athens this weekend – July 8th and 9th.

Medical services like eye exams and glasses will be offered.

Officials say dental fillings, cleanings, and extractions will also be available.

Patients are seen on a first come, first served bases.

The parking lot at McMinn High School will open at 12 a.m. Saturday with ticket distribution starting at 3 a.m.

Doors open at 6 a.m.

Patients will not be required to show any identification to receive the free medical care.
