Resident Killed in Home Invasion, Suspect Arrested

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police arrested 20-year-old Miles Hankins for the homicide of Christopher Robinson.

On June 29th, Hankins was located by CPD Neighborhood Policing Officers and brought in for questioning by Violent Crimes Bureau Investigators.

Hankins was subsequently charged with Criminal Homicide and Especially Aggravated Robbery. He was booked into the Hamilton County Jail on Saturday.

Calls into the CPD Homicide Tip Line contributed to the arrest.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are investigating a home invasion where one resident was shot and killed.

46 year old Christopher Robinson was killed.

Police say the call came in around 1:30 Friday morning for a home invasion.

Investigators say that someone forced their way into the home, shot Robinson and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are interviewing others who were in the area at the time of the incident.
