Ringgold family loses everything in house fire
A family of three loses everything in a house fire last night.
Brandon Bowman, who’s a close friend of the Carroll family, says two of them suffered from smoke inhalation, but they’re believed to be O-K.
Catoosa County Fire Chief Randy Camp says a 9-1-1 call came in around 9:30.
It was so windy, the fire spread a half acre into the back woods.
It started in the kitchen and was ruled accidental.
The family was renting, and didn’t have insurance.
The home is a total loss.
The family is staying with friends until other arrangements can be made.
Units from Catoosa County, Fort Oglethorpe and Georgia Forestry all responded.
A Go Fund Me account has been setup.
