Ringgold High student arrested after threat

RINGGOLD, Ga. (WDEF) — The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest following a threat posted on social media involving a student.

Sheriff Gary Sisk says the office was made aware of the threat involving a Ringgold High School student on Monday.

The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office investigation found the “victim of the threat” made a fake social media account and then made a post making it appear she was being threatened to be killed at school the next day.

The sheriff’s office says she then sent the post to her herself and shared it with other students causing alarm.

The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office investigation identified the student as 17-year-old  Alexandria Justine Greene of Ringgold.

According to the Sheriff, Greene was arrested late Monday night and charged with False Report of a Crime.
