Riverbend Festival Delayed Again

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga’s Riverbend Festival has been delayed again because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The board of the Friends of the Festival decided to postpone it for “several reasons.”

Riverbend will now be happening June 2-5, 2022 for its 39th anniversary.

The organization initially looked at having it this fall, since the 2020 festival was canceled.

“We are extremely grateful for the continued support of our sponsors who are making it possible to move forward with our plans to the City for working with us to make sure the 2022 festival is supported,” said Mickey McCamish, Festival Executive Director. “We have so much for which to be thankful.”

Tennessee Valley residents can still enjoy live music at Riverfront Nights this summer.

Those concerts are every Saturday at 7 p.m. at Ross’s Landing this month, the last two weeks of July, and all of August.
