Road Trips Can Be An Adventure For CFC

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) The CFC will try to hang on to a conference title as they close out the regular season this weekend. Chattanooga sits in first place by one point over New Orleans. The ‘Boys in Blue’ are on the road Friday at 7:30 against the Georgia Revolution before finishing up the weekend on Sunday with another road contest against the Atlanta Silverbacks. It’s always an adventure when the CFC hit the road, especially concerning the locker room situation.

Said CFC player Juan Sanchez:”Sometimes we haven’t even had locker rooms. We needed to change in showers or like a gym. I think it was Knoxville. We had to change in an actual gym. You know like a workout gym.”
Said CFC player Felipe Oliveira:”Georgia Revolution we changed in a tent outside. It would be hot and everything. People watching us. We do our team talk. You never know who’s listening.”
Said head coach Bill Elliott:”I just understand it. Teams are trying to put all the money into their players not into their facility, and so you just never know. You’ve got to be prepared in this league for anything.”
Said CFC player Pierre Bocquet:”We have to deal with it. It’s just the way it is. We can’t just say no, we don’t want to play or something like that. We are gonna have to deal with it.”
