Ronald McDonald House needs donations

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Ronald McDonald house is asking for help filling the needs of their families this holiday season.

Each month, the house puts out a wish list for donations. This month, staff says they are in need of individually wrapped peanuts, almonds and cashews, hot chocolate and cleaning supplies.

This helps the holiday season be a little less stressful for families going through difficult times during the holidays.

“That is something we hear so often is just the comfort here,” Communications Coordinator Bethany Ramsey said. “That’s why we put out a wish list every month because we want those families to feel like they have the care and just the home feeling here that they need and they’re not looking for those things.”

For donations and a full list of wanted items, head to Ronald McDonald house on the corner of 3rd Street and Central Avenue.
