School Board discusses possible changes to busing in Hamilton County

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) The Hamilton County School Board Financial Committee met Tuesday afternoon to discuss possible changes to the way student are bused in the county.

News 12’s Jamal Williams was at the meeting.

Right now, the Board has a contract with Durham School Services who operate more than half of the buses in the county.

The Board discussed looking at other companies to replace Durham School Services and discussed expanding owned & operated routes.

As of 6pm, the meeting was still ongoing.
