School bus runs into tree in Monroe County

TELLICO PLAINS, Tennessee (WDEF) – A school bus loaded with children crashed into a tree this morning in Southeast Tennessee.

It happened on Wilson Station Road between Tellico Plans and Englewood in Monroe County around 7:20 AM.

It ran off the road and hit the tree head on.

Six students were taken to the hospital but none of the injuries were considered serious.
