Some schools closing due to illness
(WDEF) — Polk County Schools announced on Twitter that school will be out the rest of the week. The Polk County School system was initially closed Tuesday and Wednesday due to illness, but Wednesday morning the closure was extended through the rest of the week (Thursday Feb 9 and Friday Feb 10).

McMinn County Schools are closed Thursday Feb 9 and Friday Feb 10.

Cleveland City Schools are closed Wednesday Feb 8, Thursday Feb 9, and Friday Feb 10.
CCS will be closed due to illness Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Schools will resume regular schedule on Monday, February 13.

Marion County Schools are closed Wednesday Feb 8, Thursday Feb 9, and Friday Feb 10, according to the superintendent; Richard Hardy Schools will remain open.
