Second Ashley brother captured in Soddy Daisy

SODDY DAISY, Tenn. (WDEF) – A variety of law enforcement officers took the second Ashley brother into custody early Thursday morning in Soddy Daisy.

John Travis and Charles Larry Ashley were wanted for a carjacking and beating back in November.

Sequatchie, Bledsoe and Hamilton County authorities, along with the U.S. Marshal’s Service have been looking for them.

They cornered Charles in a trailer on Mowbray Mountain over the weekend.

He refused to surrender to deputies, so they got the SWAT Team to take him into custody.

Hamilton County officials say this morning’s arrest was much less eventful.

They found him at a home on Sevier Street around 5:15 AM.

They tracked him there through investigation and from public tips.
