See Inside Chattanooga’s Volkswagen Plant Via #VWdayinthelife

Chattanooga (WDEF) – Volkswagen Chattanooga is closed to the public through 2016, thanks to a pair of new vehicle prototypes under construction there.

The factory used to offer 3 tours every day to show off their manufacturing systems and LEED Platinum Certified plant.

But they ended the tours this year while they worked on the new, 2016 Passat.

And the closed shop will continue next year as they work on a midsize SUZ.

So Volkswagen has picked today to give the public a look inside their Chattanooga operation on social media.

They call it #VWDayInTheLife.

All day, they will be posting pictures of a typical day on the job on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Here is where to find them.
