Sen. Bob Corker visits McCallie students

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Outgoing Senator Bob Corker spoke with McCallie students this morning, and answered their questions.

After a brief bio, in which he explained the highlights of his career, and his motivation for seeking public office, Corker challenged McCallie students to make a positive difference in their communities.

Then he opened the floor for questions.

At and earlier news conference, we asked about his immediate plans in January.

“As far as what’s next, uh, I don’t know. I know the things I’m not going to do and I think sometimes when you have options uh, eliminating things helps you decide what you are going to do, but I truly at this point, can say without crossing my fingers or, or anything else, I have absolutely no idea what is next.”

Senator Corker’s last day in office will be January 3rd.
