Sen. Corker Challenges Obama Administration in His First Hearing
Senator Bob Corker is in the middle of a showdown with the President in Washington.
The Tennessee republican held his first hearing Wednesday as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations committee.
He is pushing legislation that would allow Congress to take an up or down vote on any nuclear agreement that the President makes with Iraq.
The Administration says that Congressional meddling could sink the talks.
But Senator Corker says he has talked to the British Prime Minister and Israeli intelligence officials who disagree.
As the hearing began, he told the Administration witnesses "it’s not in any way disloyal, it’s not an infringement upon anybody else to say that we have legit concerns."
